When we negotiate a great sale it’s just the beginning. Of equal importance is ensuring your sale proceeds smoothly and that you are kept informed every step of the way. This technical aspect of our work is fundamental to your prospects of moving successfully and smoothly – so that’s why we have a team dedicated to that task.
When your sale is agreed it will be overseen by your personal Sales Progressor who will be responsible for keeping a close eye on your sale, the chain, solicitors progress, buyers mortgage progress and chain progress. You will receive a direct dial number for your Sales Progressor who will keep you informed every step of the way. Your Sales Progressor does not have to deal with any other Estate Agency activities except your sale.
All of our Sales Progression staff have considerable experience working within the property market or have worked in lending, property law, title insurance and, of course, estate agency. They are entirely familiar with the house buying and selling process and are quick to identify potential delays and ways to deal with them to speed up the transaction. They all receive regular training to help them provide you with the best possible service. As such our ‘fall through’ rate is so much lower than what is considered normal. This is particularly important once you have started paying out for things like solicitors, surveys, searches, valuations and so on. A failed sale is a terrible waste of money and a cause of unnecessary stress and worry.
Once your sale is agreed, close supervision of everyone connected with the sale ensures the smoothest, speedy, conclusion to your move. You will be kept fully informed by a member of our team who is never distracted by things like arranging viewings or advertising or dealing with all the other time consuming aspects of Estate Agency. Their role is purely to manage your sale and keep in touch with you, your buyer and all the other people and professionals connected.
Sadly this is commonly overlooked by many estate agents - especially those who charge low fees and are unable to provide this essential dedicated service .
