You may find that uniforms that once fitted easily are now eye-wateringly tight or too short.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #bda762;\"><strong>Routine matters<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Routines often go out the window during the holidays (and there\u2019s no shame in that, that\u2019s what holidays are for).<\/p>\n<p>However, it\u2019s good to re-establish a bedtime routine in advance so that your child is well-rested and ready for a return to the classroom.<\/p>\n<p>Also, start to discourage long lie-ins (otherwise, getting everyone up and out of the house on the first day back is going to be tough).<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #bda762;\"><strong>Talk things through<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>If you\u2019re lucky, your little one will be champing at the bit to be back in the playground surrounded by their friends.<\/p>\n<p>But not everyone has such a positive experience, and children can feel nervous or anxious.<\/p>\n<p>Ask your child how they\u2019re feeling and let them know that if they have any concerns, you\u2019re there to listen.
