Among this demographic, searches for \u2018dream thrift finds\u2019 have jumped by 550% in recent months.<\/p>\n<p>It seems vintage armchairs, dressers, mirrors and lamps \u2013 much like the sort your grandmother had \u2013 are just the ticket.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #bda762;\"><strong>Rustic farmhouse<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>It\u2019s not just old furniture that\u2019s in fashion. Items that wouldn\u2019t look out of place in a cosy log cabin or prairie farmhouse are also proving popular.<\/p>\n<p>The report says searches for \u2018farmhouse cottage interiors\u2019 are up by 370%, while the term \u2018rustic retreats\u2019 is up by 172%.<\/p>\n<p>Think heavy wooden tables, wood-fired stoves, crochet blankets and floral prints.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #bda762;\"><strong>Slick home offices<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Working from home has never looked so good \u2013 well, at least on social media, where there\u2019s not a pile of papers or dirty coffee cup in sight.<\/p>\n<p>Pinterest reports a massive rise in searches for \u2018work office makeovers\u2019 (up 2,652%) and \u2018chic cubicle d\u00e9cor\u2019 (up 1,543%).<\/p>\n<p>This trend centres around home offices with uncluttered desks, verdant indoor plants, tasteful prints, quirky lamps and nifty storage solutions.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #bda762;\"><strong>Statement tiles<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Whether it\u2019s in the bathroom or kitchen, statement tiles are enjoying a moment (searches for \u2018standout tiles\u2019 have increased by 450%).<\/p>\n<p>This trend incorporates detailed mosaics and highly patterned or textured tiles \u2013 the more ornate, eye-catching and original the better.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #bda762;\"><strong>Art deco<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The sleek aesthetic associated with the 1920s and 1930s is proving a hit, with searches for \u2018art deco d\u00e9cor interiors\u2019 up by 745%.<\/p>\n<p>Glass, chrome and lacquered wood all feature in this trend alongside geometric patterns and velvet cushions.<\/p>\n<p>The slightly baffling search term \u20181980s art deco\u2019 is also trending.
