We\u2019re proud members of the Ethical Agent Network, but you are probably wondering what that actually means.<\/span><\/h3>\n

The EAN is a national network of independent estate and letting agents who are assessed against a strict set of standards. It isn\u2019t something you join by simply paying a subscription. Membership must be earned, and it can be taken away.<\/p>\n

At the heart of it are seven promises that every member makes. Not to the network. To you.<\/p>\n

These aren\u2019t slogans or nice words for a website. They are commitments we are held to, and they shape how we work with every client, every day.<\/p>\n

We will always act in your best interests<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Not when it suits us. Not when it\u2019s easy. Always. Everything else flows from this.<\/p>\n

We will be honest, even when it\u2019s difficult<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

That means giving you clear, straightforward advice, even if it\u2019s not what you were hoping to hear. Overpromising is easy. Honesty builds trust.<\/p>\n

We will do the right thing, even when it costs us<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Ethical decisions aren\u2019t always the most profitable ones. We commit to making them anyway.<\/p>\n

We will never publicly criticise rival agents<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Standards are raised by doing better, not by talking others down.<\/p>\n

We will work collaboratively<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

EAN members share knowledge and support one another because a stronger industry benefits everyone, especially our clients, our community, and our colleagues.<\/p>\n

We will commit to continuous improvement<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Good agents don\u2019t stand still. This means investing in learning, refining our service, and staying ahead of the game so our clients get the service they deserve.<\/p>\n

We will support our local community<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

We are expected to be genuinely active and play a positive part in the areas we serve, not as a marketing exercise, but as a real, ongoing commitment.<\/p>\n

What does it take to become a member?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Making these promises isn\u2019t enough. Every applicant must prove they\u2019re already living by them.<\/p>\n

That means a strong, consistent track record of client reviews, with at least 50 Google reviews averaging 4.3 or higher. Evidence of ongoing involvement in the local community. And a detailed interview with an advisory panel of some of the UK\u2019s most respected independent agents, who assess whether the agency truly belongs in the network.<\/p>\n

Not everyone gets through. And only one agent per area is ever accepted.<\/p>\n

Why does this matter to you?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Because when you choose an agent to sell your home, let your property, or help you move, you\u2019re placing a significant amount of trust in them.<\/p>\n

EAN membership gives that trust a foundation. It means the agent you choose has been tested against standards that go well beyond the basics and has made a clear commitment to put your interests first.<\/p>\n
