Some people think estate agents are pushy. And that they don\u2019t care about what you buy as long as you buy it from them.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

That doesn\u2019t mean we\u2019re not passionate about helping the buyer, too. We most definitely are.<\/p>\n

We want to help you find the perfect house or flat and make it yours.<\/p>\n

The house we don\u2019t want you to buy is the house that\u2019s not right for you.<\/p>\n

Please don\u2019t buy these houses<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

A house that\u2019s too expensive.<\/p>\n

Affordability is the name of the game today. It\u2019s never a good idea to buy a house you can\u2019t afford to buy or to run.<\/p>\n

A house that\u2019s too small.<\/p>\n

A house that\u2019s too small for you and your family could see you hunting for another one much sooner than you\u2019d like.<\/p>\n

A house that\u2019s too big doesn\u2019t make a whole lot of sense either. (But feel free if you like wide-open spaces.) It\u2019s your money, it\u2019s your choice.<\/p>\n

A house that needs work, if you\u2019re not enthusiastic about doing it up and making it yours.<\/p>\n

A house that doesn\u2019t need work, if you\u2019re looking for something you want to put your own stamp on.<\/p>\n

A house that\u2019s not in the right place. It\u2019s often said that location is everything, and it\u2019s true.<\/p>\n

Yes, there\u2019s something to be said for considering locations outside your favourite spots. You might find a hidden gem.<\/p>\n

But at the end of the day, you need to be able to get to work, schools, the shops, friends, etc.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t buy a house somewhere that\u2019s not right just because it\u2019s in your budget.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s OK to say NO<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Book a viewing of anything you like. Ask lots of questions. Book in a second viewing if you need to.<\/p>\n

Then, if you decide it\u2019s not for you, please say so.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll be more than happy not to sell you a house that\u2019s not right.<\/p>\n

And it just makes it easier to help find you one that is.<\/p>\n

Try not to be shocked.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t something every estate agent will tell you. Estate agents don\u2019t want to be known for not selling houses.<\/p>\n

But we do things differently here. And it\u2019s just one of the small differences that make us an ethical estate agent.<\/p>\n
