We’re proud to announce what is believed to be a world-first by introducing a one-day working week.
We employed Europe’s leading time management consultancy group – Niksen, Segnities and Dossen (NSD), and they helped us develop this game-changing move.
Our principle, Mike explained the thinking behind the less is more approach. He said: “We believe in achieving a happy work/life balance for our team. Our senior management suggested that the team work three days a week, but being expert negotiators, our team managed to get it down to one day.
“We don’t believe our service levels will suffer because we’ve invested in courteous chatbots, polite robots, an answering machine and something never before seen outside Silicon Valley. And certainly not in Hailsham or Eastbourne.”
So that our team can be in two places at once, we’ve bought the UK rights to Holly Gramm, a programmable hologram of anyone in our team that can flash up in the home of a seller (or landlord) simply at the swipe of a smartphone. It can help with valuations, viewings, and even just having a natter about the news, Eastenders, the football, the weather, etc.”
Doug Dossen of NSD said: “Crane & Co are so forward thinking that they looked past our extortionate fees. We studied the ancient Greek philosopher Workshyides to see how we could weave his timeless, energy-efficient wisdom onto the constantly changing canvas of a modern estate agency.
“We were unafraid to ask the guys and girls at Crane & Co tough questions like: How do you feel about Mondays off – paid for? Would you be ok with an eight-hour working day, once a week?
“The answers we received were unanimous and highlighted how together this team of elite estate agents really are, especially regarding this bold move.”
